I know he’s been hitting recently, but that’s probably a net positive.

My company just did the plumbing in his house here in the metro area.
My buddy that works for me is Zack’s best friend.
He’s a pretty good dude.
He told me at the all star break that in a perfect world, the Braves would come within a few million of his best offer this offseason and he would sign with us.I firmly believe if we have a competitive offer this winter he will be in a Atlanta uniform next season.

Let's see what the market looks like. We do have money off the books. It just also hinges on Wright/Wilson/Anderson being worth a damn to grab a back end starting spot.

If Keuchel and Tehearn are gone we're gonna need a starter to go with Soroka and Fried.

I don't see Touks or Newk getting another chance to prove they can start. If Folty can be good again that's 1-3 taken care of with 4 and 5 left up to the kids or if there's money to bring in wheeler

Wheeler is slightly below league average for the year last I checked.
 
It's probably going to come down to years not money per year with Wheeler. I think we are a good bet to sign a SP this offseason and we might even pick up Teherans option. We would be foolish to dump him after the disaster the rotation has been this year.
 
Wheeler will have a QO attached, so I kinda doubt we'll have much interest. More likely to trade for someone, imo.
 
Dish is still fighting with FSS, so I missed Foltys stuff . How was the slider?

Good news though, fiber getting run today and Hulu + on the way

Its length of contract that's often the issue. Wheeler on a 2 year deal would be good.

The slider was sliding again and the fastball was fast. He seemed fine by the eye test. I'm sure someone will have some measurable info soon.
