gdt 8/18 doggers

I feel that today's GDT, while stylisticly very different from yesterday's, also contributed to victory. I was surprised that no one picked up on the typo/slur in the title.

braves made the doggers their little beetches

Well, it was probably thirty years ago that people all over the U.S. went bat**** because they'd bought their kids a talking doll that said 'damn,' soooo.... yup, Snit's too old.

Nats are dangerous. The Braves are playing just fine (from a W/L perspective) and they keep inching closer. We need one last good winning streak to put the division away.

And looking at the schedule, that soft spot starts on Tuesday. Would be nice if we can roll off some wins the next two weeks and relax a bit in September.
 
Gausman looks good out of the pen btw, his first game wasn't but in 7 innings he has 11 k's and a 2.57 ERA and batters are hitting .200 against him. That splitter is a real weapon in relief.
