GDT 8/24: Maxwell goes for 15

Digression: I think they could remove Marty Bergen from the Hall of Fame and replace him with either Del Crandall or Joe Torre, and literally no one on earth would complain. The Braves would keep the same number of HoFers, it would be a catcher for catcher swap, even if their cases are too weak for your tastes they're absolutely still stronger than Bergen's, and because he murdered all of his children he has no descendants to complain.

Because of what he did to the Braves with the Yankees, Joe Torre is dead to me.

Was being somewhat facetious with the comment but, yeah, I'm still a little bit bitter about those two WS losses--particularly the one in '96. 8^)
