Braves have definitely got some lucky hits. Cardinals have just come at the most opportune time. Sequencing.

This. A lucky single with 2 outs isnt very dangerous. A lucky double with men on is.

Also, the Cards have gotten a ton of lucky doubles. So many bloops and dribblers being perfectly placed.

I wonder what the median xBA is on that data set. If our average xBA on hits is lower, its possible that the Cardinals have had more outliers on the upper end of the xBA spectrum that influences the numbers. They have definitely gotten several timely hits that were pretty darn lucky.

Seriously, if the Braves win this game, I’ll never post here again. That’s how confident I am that they won’t.

I know that this is supposed to be a positivity thread, but this is my contribution toward breaking the curse. The only thing I love more than watching the Braves is coming here and bull****ting with all of you. I’m willing to sacrifice this half of my dearest baseball hobby to see a playoff series win tomorrow for the Braves. You said anything goes, right?
