Impeachment

I really wish there was a Presidential candidate worthy of my support. I feel like I'm being offered the choice of being punched in the face or the gut.

Biden is probably the safest pick to get us back to the status quo, which isn't ideal, but at least would give us some stability. May be Paul Ryan will run in 2024.

The devil you know is better than the devil you don’t know. Trump might be an ass and tweet crazy stuff but he’s done wonders for the economy. You want to trade those gains away for the unknown?

Just what we need. More establishment [Biden and Ryan].

Populism isnt going anywhere. Candidates like that are in the past. Expect to see more Trumps in the future and not just his family. It's what the people of the western world want.
 
Trump is a rainmaker. He says elect me and the economy will boom. If and when it does he takes all the credit and if it doesnt he just blames others and days he needs more control/support to make it rain. He rainmade America. If you think he is economic jesus you are a fool. The economy has only maintained the pace of growth that Obama had in his second term. Every 2 term President has had the economy crash late in their second term going back to Reagan other than Obama. I am a fiscally conservative guy but most of that coming out of the Trump administration is his staff and those around him influencing him to do things.




I understand not liking the democratic candidates but I can only imagine the crimes Trump would commit if emboldened by a second term. I dont see how you could not vote for the person with the best chance to dethrone him when Trump has to win to avoid dying in prison. Let that sink in for a bit. His options are win reelection or spend the rest of his life running from the law. That's the guy you cant vote against.

Let the impeachment articles linger through primary season until the courts answer the subpoenas for McGahn and such. SCOTUS should have ruled on McGahn and Trump's taxes by March. Force GOP senators on the bubble to answer these questions at the town halls, and let it linger over Trump during re-election campaign season now through the primary season. Not saying Pelosi would hold onto them that long, but she should weaponize it and give the Republicans and Trump a taste of their own medicine for a change.

With McConnell being one of the most unpopular politicians in the country, Pelosi will try and tie this lack of fair rules for the impeachment to the graveyard of legislation on his desk. People already rightly think of him as an obstructionist.
 
Pelosi already wants to stop talking about impeachment. Their internal polling must be even worse than what has been publically released recently.
 
I'm thinking the Democrats don't want this to go to an actual trial. If the narrative shifts to the illegal Russia investigation and witnesses are called its going to be a disaster for the Obama administration. They won't want that to happen and will hold this impeachment up for as long as possible. Maybe they'll even take a bow in a month and say for the good of the country we won't formally submit this to the Senate.

Durham has already told Trump what dirt he has on Obama and everyone.

Trump knowing this, baited Pelosi into impeachment and Pelosi walked right into the trap. Trump's advisors have played this 4D chess perfectly.

It's easy to do these things when Trump and Barr already have proof of criminal activity.
 
Which is why we can expect indictments like the ones that led to prison sentences for Trumps personal lawyers campaign manager, etc.

Yeah because the degradation of this country with establishment candidates has really gone well.

When people are on top they get shot at by those below. Its not uncommon.

But of course all the bull**** the last 3 years has proven out to be just that Bull****. All contrived by the Obama administration to reject the American peoples decision.

I get that you support the coup but why don't you just sit back and enjoy the next 5 years of Trump and the unprecedented prosperity we are enjoying. Your preferred establishment candidates will never win again.
 
wait, if Obama was doing it then wasnt he doing the will of the people since he was the sitting President at the time? Doesnt he have a constitutional duty to root out corruption even if its a political rival?
