The Coronavirus, not the beer

The problem is that people don't understand what real scientific info is, and they certainly don't understand the difference between a hypothesis, scientific theory, and scientific fact. What a joke this take on all this is.

The other part is understanding that scientists have political views like anyone else. It is pretty rare that their work as scientists is affected by their politics. I mean a heart surgeon's competence in his or her field doesn't turn on whether he or she has liberal or conservative views.

Another big increase in cases in Arizona. Nearing capacity on ICU beds. Summer is indoor season in places like AZ, FL, GA, TX.

Well here's 1200 examples of scientists letting politics affect their work, right? I think so. How can these 1200 scientists be taken at face value going forward?

You would have to be a little more specific for me to respond. I have no doubt there are examples. To be honest it isnt difficult to spot when someone allows their politics to affect their professional work. But I wouldnt regard that as justifying a wholesale rejection of scientific expertise. If a nutritionist tells you to take it easy on the oreos it's probably not because she is part of a left wing conspiracy.

They are also being called public health experts. How many scientists are actually among them?

1 is on the down swing while 1 is just getting started good. Arizona and NC are concerning though

Brazil, claiming without evidence that states are reporting an inflated number of cases, has removed coronavirus data from a Health Ministry website.

imagine being dumb enough say and believe this: "Imagine being dumb enough to think"science" is negotiable based on your political activism (That's you)"
