I hate the concept of picking a VP by race but probably a smart idea to pick a black person. Kind of ironic considering Biden was picked for VP because he was white and over the top pro-police and he now he has to pick a black VP who is anti-police to balance his ticket. Amazing.
 
Georgia Democrat Stacey Abrams says she has not heard from Joe Biden’s presidential campaign as it starts its vetting process to pick a nominee for vice president.

“I have said many times that if called I will answer, but I have not received any calls,” Abrams, who rose to prominence when she narrowly lost Georgia’s gubernatorial race in 2018, said Wednesday night on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”

BLM now polling at 52% support with only 26% oppose. Sure would be nice to have a candidate who marched I the civil rights movement who has long been an advocate for significant positive reform of the police. That guy would have no chance.



Interesting 14% of Republicans support BLM. 58% of independents support with only 19% oppose. Feel like that's relevant.

Klobuchar has the connection to the George Floyd case.

Stacy Abrams doesn’t make sense to me. But I guess I don’t understand the appeal.

I see your point on Kamala, but I think she’s easier to sell. Given Biden boxed himself into a corner by limiting himself to a female Veep, he’s going to have to select from a field that’s been raked over.

I was thinking about that picture of Bernie Sanders being removed by white cops in the civil rights movement and thought thats pretty much what black voters did to him 50 years later removing him in favor of the most pro-police/pro slavery politician of the last 40 years. Biden was to the right of people who just flat out hated black people. You get what you vote for imo. Sad part is it was specifically the older black people who voted for slavery.
