Bolton book

To be fair, Trump should have never hired on him

If you're bringing fairness into it, Bolton should have never joined the administration. By the time he did, it was more than clear to everyone, especially himself, that the administration was a $hit$how, that they had no idea what they were doing and that Orange One couldn't be counted on.

Bolton will take any chance he can get to drop a bomb.

Trump even mocked him for it after the hire.

Bolton is a clown. Trump was dumb to hire him

POTUS is a buffoon and Bolton is a bomb-happy buffoon. Biden is a gaff-happy buffoon.

Moving overseas is looking better everyday.

At least Biden's gaffs are usually small and insignificant. And after this administration, there should be an entirely new gaff threshold.

If not, Japan is nice.

When all is said and done Bolton's book will be looked at as the Steele Dossier Part II https://www.reuters.com/article/us-...n-trump-kim-summit-is-distorted-idUSKBN23T0F2
I think you greatly under-value the cumulative effect of the Steele Dossier/Flynn/Manafort/Russia-gate/impeachment. Orange One ultimately survived, but the scandals that led to impeachment broadsided the administration and bound them up in ugly legal scuffles that only got uglier as time went on.

Bolton's book is just another shot at the same target - the big orange beast, but the beast is full of arrows now and starting to wobble. The book is probably unnecessary, but it's hitting the target in a way the Steele Dossier didn't. Bolton may not run The Heritage Foundation, but he's connected and I have to feel that if the conservative elite were truly all in on Orange One for another 4 years this book would've never come out. Bolton could've been appeased. There are fractures running all through the GOP.

Dude, this book is as much crap as the Steele Dossier. Even Steele himself said he wouldn't trust the dossier. South Korea just said Bolton's book got the Trump-NK story wrong.

Apples and oranges.

The Bolton book is a first hand account of historical events. If he's lying he should be sued for defamation. He won't be. The administration, whose people read the book months ago, tried to stop it by saying it revealed classified info, not because it was full of lies. If it were full of BS they wouldn't have cared. They did care. A lot. The saga isn't over. They're gonna try and get the money from the book. Bolton doesn't care about that. He doesn't need the money.

It's a subjective account from a disgruntled former employee. But it's not crap. Bolton is a sharp guy whose views on foreign policy are beyond the pale, and he's well thought of in Trump world. They courted him for months. Why? Because Orange One is a fruitcake and the list of qualified folks who can work with him is small and shrinking all the time. Even Bolton was ultimately too honest and patriotic for OO's bs administration. He bit them in the ass with this book. It is what it is.

He’s blinded by his hate for Trump. No matter how many people come out and say it’s a lie, he and 57 will die before they admit it’s all bull****

Yeah, it is quite amazing. South Korea just came out and said Bolton is distorting what happened in the talks with North Korea. In most normal people that sets off alarms. Hell, I'm willing to bet most of them still believe the pee tapes are real.

There's nothing surprising in the book. Not one eye-opening fact or tidbit that seems out of line of what we know about the administration.

Which parts do you or Garmel think are lies? Oh I forget, you haven't read it and are just defending OO by reflex. Read it and then let's talk.

Of course, SK is gonna support whoever is in the WH no matter what. They have a rather strong motivation to do so. It's called survival.

But I don't think the book is that important. Conservative intelligentsia will read it, unlike the cult itself, but it's not gonna change any minds. Nothing really new.

I think it is important to know exactly what the Steele Dossier was.
People that understand what it was and what it's intent have a totally different view
equally important to remember who gave it to Buzzfeed

As far as the pee tapes ---- why was the SDNY fired Friday night ?
There are rumors

I dont think he long term survived.
It will forever be a part of his legacy

Trump is going to be running for his life for the rest of his life the minute he loses immunity. They have had enough to indict Trump in just NY for years now.

I will believe any country we hold leverage on backing up Trump if they continue to say it AFTER he no longer has any leverage on them. Same with Dr. Fauchi. When Trump isnt President and Dr. Fauci says Trump did a great job with the virus I will believe him. Only a dunce does not understand that SK confirming Bolton's story would lead to retaliation against SK by Trump. He has spent his entire political career making it clear you do not disagree with what he says no matter how wrong he is without consequences.

Zero proof that Trump is telling SK to lie for him. None. Zilch. Your feelings aren't reality. The absolute stupidity people will go to in order to believe Bolton and his book.
