I just hate DAs. People think of them as valiant defenders of justice and justice doesn't matter to them. Only wins. Truth can be tossed aside if it means a win.

I don't think Harris is special in her disregard for the truth. I don't even hold it against her that much. If I waited for an honest politician, I'd be waiting forever.

How is that any different from defense lawyers, or any other lawyers, for that matter? Your prejudice against DAs sounds personal and unseasoned.

From Reagan Democrats to Biden Rupublicans?

This year, Democrats have the chance to achieve a generational transformation. Beyond broadening the coalition to include moderate voters who oppose President Trump, we could deepen our base by turning disaffected Republicans into Democrats. Voters in places that were once beyond our reach—suburban parts of Maricopa County, Ariz.; Mecklenburg County, N.C.; and Bucks County, Pa., for example—are open to conversion. So beyond thinking about the outcome this November, Democrats need to focus on what happens after Mr. Trump has been ushered off the stage.

It comes from personal experience. I've seen the internal side of a large city's DA office. It's ugly.

Honestly, a DA interested in justice will appear weak on crime and will often not get re-elected. The job self selects people more interested in success than doing the right thing.

Maybe Harris is different. I did not seen the internal workings of her office when she was a DA. I don't see anything from her record to show she's different.

We need a healthy two-party system. But otoh a party that embraces lunacy like the GOP has needs to be punished by the voters. This could be a realigning election, but that depends on the Dems governing wisely.

So if I stuck a bunch of signs on local mailboxes saying "Save Me" how much trouble could I get into.

You’ll be fine. Any judge and jury will be able to read your posts on here and find you ‘criminally insane’ because of your TDS.

I hear rural and small town post offices are the biggest drags on the USPS becoming profitable. Maybe very poorly chosen one is gonna do the right thing and shut them down. I'm starting to think it is a brilliant idea.

Anything that can kill this awful service faster would be ideal.

Are you ever gonna tell me how there is an attack on USPS or nah?

Again, how is that different from defense lawyers? Are you implying, that in your opinion, defense lawyers care more about justice that DAs?
