The Coronavirus, not the beer

Pac 12 football players writing a letter to the Governor Newsome asking to allow them to practice and workout in groups more than 12. Wanting to play a season again obviously, but California doesn't seem to want to open up at all.

California cases are exploding despite lockdowns still in place.

I'm curious what you are basing this assertion on.

I look at the Johns Hopkins data and see that the 7-day moving average for percent of tests positive in California is down to 3.3%. It was 8% a couple months ago. You can see these data here:

https://coronavirus.jhu.edu/testing/individual-states/california

Then there are the data the Washington Post publish on number of cases (7 day average) per 100,000 residents. California is at 9, down 20% from a week ago. That is below the national average. It is below most states. You can find those data here:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/grap...s-us-cases-deaths/?itid=hp_pandemic-guide-box

Are you just making things up? There are other posters who do this as a regular practice and I don't bother to check on their claims cuz I know the bad-faith game they play. Hopefully it doesn't turn out that you fall in the same category.

As for California's place in all of this, with an historic wildfire season in the west and the pandemic still ongoing (California recorded 3,673 new COVID-19 cases on Monday), football has to be one of the last things on Newsom's mind right now.

^^ per the article about asking him to rethink football.

Sorry if that was misleading.

ok...never thought you would just make stuff up like some others do

people like football on the west coast...there is USC-UCLA and Cal-Stanford....but it doesn't have the cultural importance that football has in the south and midwest...this would be an example of federalism in action

Maybe they have as many ****ing idiots as the USA

But i don’t think I have anyone claiming a mask is the cure

But can be helpful as it has been in some countries

But qanon gonna qanon I guess

People should be forced to wear a mask while locked in their homes.

The virus wouldn't stand a chance!

And it would only be two weeks to slow the spread

The china virus was designed and released by the ccp in conjunction with globalist leaders around the world to stop trunp from winning in 2020. By thr time it was decided formally Trump was om his way to one of the biggest landslides in presidential history.

this is crazier than homeless people theories before they ask you if you have a dollar to spare

Yes. Everything I've said that had ended up being the truth was at some point crazy to low IQ people. This isn't shocking to me this was your take.
