People need to understand the process and understand it's not always going to go in their favor. Regardless of what side of the political spectrum you're on, roughly half the country will be on the other side. Sometimes your side will win, sometimes the other side will win.

Also, this stuff tends to be on a pendulum. It will swing back and forth. The left has a pretty good record when it comes to major court decisions in recent years (Obamacare, gay marriage, abortion, etc). It inevitably would swing back.

Finally, the court is unlikely to swing far right. Roberts, Gorsuch, and Kavanaugh have shown themselves to be way more moderate than Alito and Thomas. I think that block will control the court for a while no matter who replaced Ginsburg.

The SCOTUS is the most removed branch from the people for a reason. It's supposed to be insulated from mob rule for a reason.
 
Reports are the Dems are threatening to increase the number of SCOTUS seats if they win the senate and presidency in retaliation if the Republicans fill Ginsburg's seat.

That would be an incredibly short sighted idea. Do you want a 95 member SCOTUS? That's how you get one.

Increasing the number of seats would be nothing more than a temper tantrum. It's a 9 year old turning over the monopoly board when they have to go to jail.

Eventually there's a line that shouldn't be crossed and I think that's the line.

Ginsburg was in many ways the let's version of Scalia. When Scalia died you had people arguing it was okay to celebrate his death. In fact, I saw plenty of people on my social media laughing at Scalia's death and making jokes about it.

Are we seeing the same with Ginsburg? I'm not. I'm sure it's occurring in the bowels of twitter but I'm not seeing it mainstreamed like with Scalia.
 
Basically the point I want to hit home is someone agreeing with you is not a reason to lionize them and someone disagreeing with you is not a reason to demonize them. There are too many people who make this mistake.

Can you show the part of the constitution that permits violence?

Ive asked you why the GOP should not fill the seat. Why dont you try to coherently explain it
