2020 Field

There’s some big fbi press conference tonight.

Which means ten minutes after that’s over, 57 and Cajun will say trump Is in cahoots with Iran

Is this a good time to point out I was skeptical of the story that the Proud Boys were sending people threatening emails using their own freakin name. I dont doubt their stupidity but that was hard to believe. Any objective person should have realized that. From what I understand the Lincoln Project posted the story not realizing it was misleading and then when informed took it down and stopped saying it. Go ahead. High step all you want. Donald Trump when confronted with repeating disinformation doesnt give a **** and keeps doing it. Its like comparing trespassing to armed robbery.

“There are consequences to these actions. They embolden other people to be cruel and divisive and racist. And it frays the fabric of our society. And it affects how our children see things. And it affects the ways that our families get along. It affects how the world looks at America. That behavior matters. Character matters.”

My dad is a diehard Lib and will vote for any DEMO but he said but said that Bernie isn't. He said he like Charles Manson and David Koreth and he have cult like base and Chump will eat him alive.

He also said and it make sense, Harris, Booker and soon Klubochar will drop, they don't have the money and then Bootleg will follow suit. If Bloopberg did not say bad things in the past it would an easy win. Orange face is going to kill anyone that oppose him and that makes me sick.

His policies are not all bad, but his decorum is the worst of any president we had in our history. He makes us look bad.

you are feeling better I take it ?

his last post and with know the news now

a crazy reply to look back on from 57 that wasn't answered then and we now know the answer

rip man

Looking at the latest polls and each candidates path to victory.

Biden has 232 likely votes to Trump's 125, as polls in states like GEorgia and Texas are throwing things around buckwild.

For Biden to win, aside from securing his current votes he needs to add 38 votes to win. With a number of ways to do that.

Winning PA, Minn and Wisconsin gets him 40 votes.

Winning Nevada, Iowa, Minnesota or Wisconsin, NOrth Carolina and Maine CD2 or NE2 gets him exactly 38 votes.

Simply winning Texas.

States Biden is leaning towards he must keep on his side, Michigan and Virginia.

Trump has a much more interesting path forward. First he cannot win the election in anyway I see as likely if he loses Texas or Florida. He can lose some other close ones and win some other close ones but those 2 are basically impossible for him to overcome. So he has to win those 2 states, and I would say Georgia and Ohio are almost must wins but there is a path forward if he loses them, it's just much harder.

So for trump to get the 155 votes lets look at the tossup states

PA - 20
FL - 29
WI - 10
NC - 15
AZ - 11
OH - 18
GA - 16
IA - 6
NV - 6
TX - 38
ME2 - 1
NE2 - 1
MN - 10

So looking at his path forward, seal up Florida and Texas to get his 67 votes, lets throw in IA and NE2 to get him to 200. He still needs to claim 70 votes. WHihc isn't impossible, GA, Ohio and ME2 get him half way there, then either MN or WI, PA and NV or PA and NC gets him the rest of the way.

He has to hold onto some vulnerable states as well.

What is certain is Trump nor Biden will concede on Election day. Unless Biden routes Trump at the in voter polls, there's no way Trump lets Biden win a close one with mail in votes to be counted and same with Biden.

Pennsylvania and Wisconsin don't start counting mail in votes until election day. Results will take a while in those two states.

Florida, NC and Arizona will have already counted them by election day. Results will come in fast there.

Unless the race is very close in Florida, NC and Arizona we will know election night.

Given the polls, I think this one will be obvious by 10 pm, though the networks might decide not to call it until polls close on the west coast at 11.

One last thought: the tendency in most in elections is for late undecideds to break for the challenger in competitive races. Probably more relevant for senate races this year than for the presidential race.

I absolutely agree with this. It's pathetic that people make excuses for Trump's behavior. Just like the usual suspects on here that spew out garbage like "Orange Man Bad." Leaders dictate how their followers act. Trump absolutely emboldens his followers to act the same way, because if the President acts that way, it makes okay for them to act that way as well.

there are always these impulses in American society (and I would guess any society)...i call them subterranean impulses...and they really do need to be kept underground...very poorly chosen one didn't bring them into being but he summoned them into the light of day

Not that we didn't already know and it's something I've been saying for years but it's been confirmed that the Democrat party is nothing more than a satellite for the CCP.
