It was a silly argument then and remains silly now.

What we have is a disease whose spread is affected by many factors.

One is weather and seasonality.

Another is the natural tendency for a population to let their guard down when things seem to improving.

Those are probably the two main reasons why cases have risen so sharply in Europe (and in parts of this country too).

No one (as far as I know) has argued that mask wearing eliminates the spread of the disease. It reduces it to a certain extent. But the ups and downs of rates of infection are affected by a lot of variables.

You applauded NY. You applauded Europe. You obsessively pointed to their mask compliance as a simple remedy to slow the spread. This despite the consistent worse outcomes.

What ignorance? The house just passed a relief bill last month or early this money, they passed the Heroes act way back in May or June. There's been bills that Mitch has let die on his desk, but somehow he's not to blame?

Since i am convinced yall are in a partisan bubble ill do my best to educate you on this.

The senate agreed to like 10 different pacakges of up $1.5T. Pelosi insisted on a package that included an extra trillion dollars for things completely unrelated to covid.

The senate said no, but they will agree to the direct covid stimulus. Pelosi said said no.

Then the senate offered a smaller bill on things everyone agreed to in both larger bills. Pelosi said no... It was the $2.5t package or nothing.

She wanted nothing and she got nothing.
 
Even CNN has pushed back on Pelosi twice on this... First Wolf Blitzer and then today Jake Tapper. She will not budge on her ridiculous ask.

The senate has agreed to direct stimulus for the people, but she wants a bailout of her failed states that have nothing to do with covid.

They have agreed i believe to up to $1.5 Trillion to which Pelosi said no.
