The Coronavirus, not the beer

Sure, sure.. I wonder why they felt the need to start that practice....

msstate can chime in when he wants

i started posting the raw numbers quite a while back...when deaths were overwhelmingly higher in the US than the group of comparable countries

when deaths started rising again in Europe msstate started sharing the per capita numbers

now that the US numbers are exceeding the totals of the other countries listed (even though they have a significantly larger combined population than we do) msstate has farmed out this task

i'm no conspiracy theorist but i go hmmm

maybe msstate will offer his take

My 90 year old Granpa died at 10:30 AM today from the Coronavirus. He wasnt long for this world by this point anyways though. His mind handnt exactly gone but his ability to work was gone so he spent the last year doing his second greatest passion...... harassing people. He would literally ride his scooter around his neighborhood telling people they are going to hell or find any reason he could to complain about what anyone was doing. He actually ordered drones and used them to harass his aunts cattle and horses.

Its depressing how many people went along with this farse. ITS A BAD FLU!

Yes, a really bad flu that kills a lot of people.

Emergency Symptoms - Call a doctor or hospital right away if you have one or more of these COVID-19 symptoms:

Trouble breathing
Constant pain or pressure in your chest
Bluish lips or face
Sudden confusion

Strokes have also been reported in some people who have COVID-19. Remember FAST:

Face. Is one side of the person’s face numb or drooping? Is their smile lopsided?

Arms. Is one arm weak or numb? If they try to raise both arms, does one arm sag?

Speech. Can they speak clearly? Ask them to repeat a sentence.

Time. Every minute counts when someone shows signs of a stroke. Call 911 right away.

Aside from this tweet being nonsensical. This is old news he's retweeting.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/trav...lly-adding-face-masks-ride-photos/6509625002/

"In response to guest requests, we tested modifying some ride photos. We are no longer doing this and continue to expect guests to wear face coverings except when actively eating or drinking while stationary," Disney said in a statement provided by spokesperson Jacquee Wahler.

It's the biggest non-story ever. Like actually ever.

Lol

I’m shocked to see freedom boy not reading his links lol

maybe sturg should not repost tweets .

would be nice if we had a dedicated twitter police and fact checker
Just sayin'

Sometimes I want to cuss.

People die from the flu just like they are dying from the ccp virus. We ha information as to the lethality. Anecdotal experience can’t override raw data.

Bad flu bugs have killed people for centuries. This is no different based on actual data.

Hey can you not read? I'll repeat it for your This time in bigger letters so maybe that will make it easier

you do know that the CDC death totals for 2019 aren't finished yet, much less the current year

So if 2019 is revised upward more than what does that tell us?

Curious as to where he is getting that information. CDC hasn't released totals from 2019 yet and provisional deaths from 2020 through yesterday (but minus january) are at 2.7 million currently.

And due to people interpretating the data wrong the CDC had to come and say as much. Through week 44 of provisional data of 2020 and 2019, 2020 was up +317000.

CCP virus accelerates death a few months based on some stuff I’ve read. Healthy people aren’t dying. Therefore, eventually excess deaths catch-up with expected deaths over a long enough timeline.

Sure. Over the next 20 years I suspect rougly the same number of people in America would die with or without the pandemic. But thats not the twiiter post you linked is saying.

The post I shared showed that the amount of deaths this year is trending reasonably with prior years.

I agree that excess mortality probabaly existed a few months ago. The lag has now caught up.

It was +300000 at the start of November. It caught up in 6 weeks?

Why was that number accurate if we are concerned about timing?

We have total deaths recorded by the CDC right? Why aren’t those the numbers we are comparing? Are we expecting material revisions for periods prior to December?

Yes. Data can take 1 to 8 weeks to show up and it states that specifically on their page. The number they are going off of is the weekly number they put out at that time. So through week 44 (oct 20th to be precise) there was 300K more deaths in 2020 than through week 44 of 2019. The 2019 data you posted counts all revisions. Its apples to oranges man.
