Georgia Senate Runoff

6 months ago, GA wasn't even considered a realistic possibility of flipping both Senate seats, much less both seats and the Presidency.

I mean they Dems pulled the Senate it appears and the Presidency this election. I don't see how it can be looked at as anything but an overwhelming success for the Dems.

What? Georgia has been called purple for years. Hillary hoped to win it. Abrams still thinks she did. Roy Barnes liked his chances enough in 2010 to come out of retirement to run for a second round of being governor.

We spend more on education than we ever have.

Maybe one day you will learn that more money doesn't solve the problem of centralized power.

The dept of education and public teachers unions have destroyed our education system. Those kids vote today. That is why the trend is the socialists friend

"Highly educated adults – particularly those who have attended graduate school – are far more likely than those with less education to take predominantly liberal positions across a range of political values. And these differences have increased over the past two decades."

narrative over facts - a trump trademark.

republican politics of funneling more money to the wealthy doesn't resonate with working class people, which is weird.

Haha I dont think you understand my position very well.

I agree the more people who go through our education system, preferably as high up as possible, produces tremendous numbers for one party

seems to be the case in basically every top nation. maybe it's not some grand conspiracy...

It does seem like the last minute hysterics were a complete u forced error from the GOP. It does look like the party is splitting. I think in 10 years we will have 4 major parties

Romney GOP
Trump populism
AOC socialism
Biden Dem

Sadly, the country isn't interest in a fiscally responsible party (that will happen after the collapse)

GA has voted Red for Governor in every election since 2002, with an average margin of victory of 8.74 points. Prior to 2020, They've voted Red for POTUS in every election since 1996 with an average margin of victory of 7.75. They haven't had a Dem senator since the end of GWB's first term.

Senators like Hawley are up for re-election.

He would have gotten primaried by a Trumper had he not said anything.

The rest fell in line because people like Cruz want to run for President again in 2024 and need the MAGA base in the primaries.

I said a book, not a 200 page op-ed

I asked you what you mean by investing in education and you told me to go read a book.

Then you complained about the book I'm reading.

Seems like you dont really know what you're talking about when asked to go one layer deeper than the dem talking points

as Stacey Abrams said " there are no red states, only voter suppressed states "
why do I get the feeling this voter turnout has been boiling under the surface for decades ?

The Closing of the American Mind by Alan Bloom

the one you are reading is a cheezy knockoff
