Why would the Rockies want Dansby? Waste for them.
 
Heyman: #STLCards are pushing hard for Nolan Arenado. Word is, they seem very determined. Still there are complications: He has no-trade, though he hopes for a contender. He also has an opt-out after 2021 season, and Cards surely would prefer assurance he’d stay longer.

Do the Cards have anything to trade? If I was Nolan I’d nix that trade. The Cards aren’t a threat.
 
Rosario only got 1/8. I keep going back and forth between us having plenty of money and being totally broke.
 
Well, the LHH options in the OF are dwindling. I guess we have to tell ourselves that Rosario was too bad in the OF to fit the roster.

I think now is the time to start thinking about being concerned. Who else is available as the Markakis replacement?

The problem we have is Ender Inciarte that money is killing us.

Enders money was on the roster when they signed Smyly.

I find it impossible to believe the Braves don’t have cash for the OF after giving Smyly $11M. There must be cash available, and there must be other OF options in play. It would be an epic fail not to add bats to this roster.
 
I think is time to move some of this prospects or move some of the pitchers to the bullpen. Starting with Touki and Newcomb.

You'd have to think Story is now definitely available.
