No All Star Game in Atlanta This Season?

trump literally would let people die and not help states that didn't vote for him

Is that why he sent a massive ship to help Cuomo avoid putting sick people in nursing homes... but Cuomo didn't wanna give Trump credit so refused to use it?

Or went he sent 50,000 ventilators Cuomo demanded that were never used and are now just office furniture?

Why do you intentionally try to know less?

He also moved a convention out of a certain state cuz he wanted a packed house. Which unfortunately he didn't get in the new city he moved it to.

I believed I asked you for an example of Trump telling a company to boycott a state...

You then ranted like a lunatic without giving one

What post was that I dont see it. You can try and narrow things down all you want but I am not gonna play that game, Trump has constantly been calling for boycotts and "canceling" things.

Lets start

Called for firing of Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter. Reason? He said Trump had tiny hands.

Says Scots should boycott Glenfiddich wine because they picked a man who refused to sell his land to Trump as Scot of the year

Called for conservative writer Jonah Goldberg to be fired and not be allowed on Fox News anymore after saying Trump had been tweeting like a 14 year old girl

Called for a boycott of Megyn Kelly because she is "too negative about Trump"

Called for boycott of Dallas Morning News and Arizona Republic Newspapers for endorsing Hillary and saying Trump was unfit for office.

Called for a boycott of CNN and later their parent company ATT because he is butt hurt about their coverage of him.

Also threatened the broadcast license of news companies solely because he gets negative coverage from them.

Called for a boycott of Harley-Davidson

Called for actress Debra Messing for saying that the list of people who attend Trump fundraisers should be publicly released.

Called for firing of Paul Krugman for predicting a global recession in Trumps term.

This is all before he even took office encompassing only about 2012- January 2017. No one embodies cancel culture more than the Teflon Don.

Let's not forget people like Vindman and Yovanovitch who had their careers cancelled for not participating in or covering up his scheme to strong-arm Ukraine into manufacturing deza for his campaign.

The Deza that was proven to be true from the laptop social media giants and corporate media conspired to censure?

Boycotts are, the vast majority of the time, overused nonsense people try to use because someone disagrees with them politically. 99 times out of 100 they're unjustified and toxic to political discourse.

If you refuse to buy a product made by slave labor in China, that's one thing. If you try to lead people to punish a company because the CEO said something you disagree with, you're a bad person.

I stopped buying Goya. Guess I'm a bad person.

I've slowly removed things I disapprove of from my life.
Cable tv because it's mostly trash
NFL because of Beyonce's halftime show
Award shows for obvious reasons
NBA because it's a crap product
Netflix for obvious reasons
Nike for obvious reasons
Various tech sites and authors due to pushing irrelevant ideological agendas
So on and so forth

I'll probably add MLB to that now. I've been more of a Rome fan the past few years anyway.

The funny thing is, it isn't hard, it doesn't impose some primitive lifestyle. There's more content out there than can be believed, Nike shoes suck anyway, if you don't like a soda company there are plenty of alternatives. I don't understand why anyone would financially support something they disagree with. That doesn't mean start a crusade about it and act like a brave hero on the twitter, just attach moral value to your spending or time. It's satisfying.

Oh and I support companies that fight the good fight. Example Delta. Although I don't view the Georgia voter law as a good vessel for pushing against voter suppression, the general concept of corporations speaking out on a fundamental issue such as participatory democracy is one I very much favor.

You would think that to bolster their argument the left would find examples of voters that are impacted by these laws.

I’m guessing they don’t exist.

"even though they leveraged their power on something based on a complete lie, I was really happy to see it and hope to see a lot more of it!"

I appreciate the effort, but none of these are asking a corporation to abandon us citizens

Such actions contribute to the increased extremism and toxicity of American politics. Someone can disagree with you and still not be an enemy deserving of punishment.

We've gone too far into mixing politics and morality. If you consider your views to be morally correct then you dissent is immoral and compromising politically is compromising your morals. It's a MASSIVE problem in this country. But it's easier to motivate people to vote if they're scared of the immorality the other side might enact.

I don't want corporations involved in politics any more than is absolutely necessary. Delta needs to focus on flying people safely between two points. Goya needs to make beans.

I consider the CEO of Goya to be an enemy. Anyone who gives oxygen to the BIG LIE the way he did is undermining something that I consider worth fighting for. Ditto for those members of Congress who voted to disenfranchise the voters of Arizona and Pennsylvania. This goes well beyond disagreeing about taxes and infrastructure spending.

Biden just cost black people thousands of jobs and millions in tax revenue by pushing the BIG LIE

as jaw said, you are a shill

I know y'all are gonna jump in with a bunch of whataboutisms. But what happened in the aftermath of the 2020 elections is something well outside the range of what is acceptable in the course of our normal messy political discourse and combat.
