GDT: 4/12 Marlins @ Braves

Ynoa opened that Chisholm AB with three straight changeups — all 88-89 mph. I don’t think he threw one of them vs Washington?

So let's dream that ynoa keeps this up... what do you do when soroka is healthy? Rotate fake injuries for each pitcher? 6-man rotation?

when Ynoa needed to be added to the 40-man or put in the Rule 5, i thought it seemed silly to keep him and thought for sure he'd be a Rule 5 guy (and thought no one would even take him).

oof, was i wrong on that. i also remember 50 basically calling me an idiot for thinking that, in his nice way.
he's at the very least very useful (Ynoa, not 50).

Thru 4 IP, Ynoa has thrown 62 pitches, 41 for strikes

I think people forget it was never a stuff issue with Ynoa. It was always command. I watched multiple AAA games where he’d walk 4 or 5 in 4 IP. And he missed where hitters could hurt him.

That pitch Duvall hit out was on the black low and away.

Pop quiz: your spot starting BP arm is sitting at 70 pitches, has faced the order twice, and is about to lead off the bottom of the fifth inning in a 1 run game.

What is the correct move?
