GDT: 4/12 Marlins @ Braves

You guys are right back to being suicidal after 2 close losses. It would be funny if it weren’t a little worrisome.

I just shot my dog named minter. Is that too much??

But seriously I didn’t watch the game. Did ozuna being in LF in the 8 cost us a run? Could pache gotten to the ball quicker? How long are we going to allow opposing managers get to optimize their pen by having Ozzie hitting 2?

Not gonna lie. I was super depressed after we lost our first 4 games. And then I was on a super high when we had won 4 in a row. Then Alex Bohm happened. Not sure how I'm going to recover right now.

I mean I live south of Atl and have been able to watch one game so far. I’m thinking about driving to our local dollar general and burning it to the ground but then aunt b would have no where to grocery shop

The Braves have been the 2nd unluckiest team in MLB offensively. In 2020, the unluckiest team over the 60 game season was at -.018, so the Braves should expect a lot of regression in offensive results.

So after 10 games of horrid luck offensively, a Wheeler career game, and a contender for worst umpire call of the year, the Braves are 4-6. All will be fine.

Can you find any meaningful data on Ynoa's changeup? Think he only threw 7 yesterday, but anything of substance on it?

food deserts are a real problem, praying for you

Duvall won't do anything. Marlins got conned into making him an everyday player. Just don't let him face a lefty.

Great call on this....for this series, this should-be back up has gone

6-13 5k's 2BB's 4 HRs 8 RBI

Not to mention a few good outfield plays, including throwing out Freeman at 2nd yesterday

Yeah he's killed us all the way around. The one homer against RHP stands out and in a small number of 10 PA's will really pump up the numbers. But that's really all the damage he's done against RHP.

The mistake of course is letting him face lefties. 5 PA's against lefties in the series and he has 2 homers and a double. Braves, more than any team, should know better than to let that happen. Just dumb managing and situational awareness by our pitchers.
