Almost July. They are what they are at this point. They will be too far out for it to matter for who comes back in August.

Of course we are better than this…injuries have decimated the Braves. Sometimes it’s just not your year and that’s ok. With the right moves(and a little luck), we will be right back in contention next year. We have toiled a tad under .500 all year.

Unless we see a huge turn around in July…I do not spend any assets at the deadline (unless it will help next years roster).

What will likely happen? Guys return back in Aug. and although it will not be enough to make the playoffs…we will win enough to drop spots in the draft and save Snitker’s job. It would be a very “Braves” thing to do.

Soon it will be 10.5. I just hope there isn't a desperate Tex-type trade in the offing. For example, we don't need to rebuild the Twins for Donaldson just to finish 5 back rather than 10.
