The Coronavirus, not the beer

He was symptomless in 48 hrs

then he won't have to go to the hospital and put others in danger...that's a good thing

and if he had gotten sick i'm sure he would have stayed home and avoided putting the doctors and nurses in danger

A New Jersey woman who used the Instagram handle @AntiVaxMomma was charged in a conspiracy to sell hundreds of fake coronavirus vaccination cards over the social media platform, Manhattan prosecutors said on Tuesday.

The allegations against the woman, Jasmine Clifford, 31, were unveiled in Manhattan criminal court. Prosecutors said that Ms. Clifford sold about 250 forged cards over Instagram.

She also worked with another woman, Nadayza Barkley, 27, who is employed at a medical clinic in Patchogue, N.Y., to fraudulently enter at least 10 people into New York’s immunization database, prosecutors said.

Facebook providing a platform for crime. But it's their company and their brand. I don't presume to tell them what's best for their business.

this is an interesting analogy

it breaks down at two levels

1) Mosquitos have the capability to sense the difference between a solid object (the link in a fence) and the empty space between the links. And they will fly through the empty space and avoid the links. A virus or aerosol particle lacks this capability.

2) The ratio of links in a fence to empty space between links is quite low. In contrast, the ratio of strands of fiber in a mask to the empty space between strands of fiber is quite high. Of course, sometimes the virus will get through a gap between the strands of fiber. No one has claimed that masks are perfect. But quite a high proportion of virus expelled when we breath or talk ends up colliding with strands of fiber.

It's like explaining basic science to a four year old.

Did they quit recently?

Most all the new cases are with the young (under 50) and unvaccinated. A 4 years old at a kindergarten down the street came down with symptoms and a positive test this week. The virus is just still making its way through the population infecting the unprotected.

Guess they all stopped wearing masks all of a sudden.

DELTA!!!

Wouldn't it be fitting that immediately following the lecturer raising 'concerns' about hospitalizations in places like Florida and Miss we saw a large decrease?

Already a 13/16% reduction from the prior 7 day rolling average respectively.

It's about to shift to northeast

we shall see...meanwhile these are the current data

hospitalization rate (per 100,000 population) in the five most vaccinated states

Vermont 5
Connecticut 12
Massachusetts 7
Maine 13
Rhode Island 13

And in the five least vaccinated states

Mississippi 54
Alabama 63
Idaho 30
Wyoming 35
West Virginia 42
