My understanding is Australia has 0.02% of the fatalities per capita of Florida over the past couple months. Can anyone confirm. I may have the decimal in the wrong place.

My Vietnam veteran uncle used to have a saying, "I think they're idiots, but I carried a durn heavy machine gun through the jungle for a couple of years to defend people's right to be an idiot."

Exactly - I want people like nsacpi/57/goldy to stop voting because they don't realize they're voting for people that are going to end up making their lives and the lives of their ancestors much worse.

Too much brainwashing.

Methinks their geography and quickness to stop travel is the cause of their good results and not their draconian lockdown measures.

See this is where you and I differ. I want to encourage all the low-information voters to vote and to make it as easy as possible for them to do so. Even the ones who will vote in ways I don't like.

The lecturing buffoon has made abundantly clear he would support what Aus is doing here in America.

Yesterday he said 100% vaccinated schools still must enforce strict restrictions.

He has no endgame. This is not about public health

I recall he was a bigot at first when he started putting travel bans in place. Why, I bet some people might have even called him a fascist, totalitarian, Nazi, or enemy of democracy.
