Which is my issue with Ferry. Either blow it up completely and hopefully land a top lottery pick next season or go for broke. He missed out on every top free agent because nobody wants to play in Atlanta. This treading water crap isn't working. Unless the Hawks hit on a couple draft picks in the middle of round 1, they aren't going to improve much or get much worse.

The contract calls for Smith to make $5.57 million next season and $5.98 million in 2014-15, with a third-year player option at $6.4 million.
Smith had two surgeries on Monday, one to repair damage to his patella tendon and another for a teal of the lateral meniscus. Smith may need three to four months of recovery.

Thats debateable.
I think I offended Brule's blackness by changing the thread title to "Run-Shoot-Steal Sport Discussion" because either he or Zito changed it back (don't know which since I have no idea how ot access moderator logs yet). One changed it back to NBA thread... I'm betting it was Brule since he's black.
