Official 2022 Offseason Moves Thread

We'll see how many more deals get signed by tomorrow afternoon.

As it stands, you might want to get some ketchup to put on that crow.

Wednesday is the day when the lockout happens but does seem a lot of guys are gonna be coming off the market soon. Scherzer, Gausman, Seager, Baez to name a few. I havent seen anything that thinks Freeman will sign but would be nice to get that settled before the lockout.

7 years for Semien is umm, stove. Good for him but that has bad contract all over it.

Why? If deals aren’t signed by the lockout I’m still not worried. And we shouldn’t be either. Just more over drama for you. Not sure what your tomorrow afternoon timeline is about either. Has nothing to do with the lockout. More manufactured clv drama. If players sign elsewhere before the lockout then they aren’t in the Braves plans… it’s not hard to understand. AA has earned a little bit of trust.

The lockout isnt until Wednesday/Thursday night, not sure what Monday has to do with anything either.

Us. Don’t believe me, don’t care, but they’re close and both parties are shooting for a pre-lockout deal. The best thing about having a blue checkmark on Twitter is I have folks who confide in me lol so no other details but I can share that talks have ramped recently.

What’s your Twitter?

Still wondering what I’m supposed to eat crow about tomorrow.

Yeah i dont either, just clv and one of his rants. Braves not signing anyone before the lockout isnt the end of the world, if that ends up happening.

Heyman: Mets full attention at moment is on Max Scherzer, who may make a decision tonight. While the incumbent Dodgers are perceived as the favorite, the Mets are determined and financially formidable. If Scherzer goes elsewhere, Mets are expected to pivot to Kevin Gausman.

Just can’t see Scherzer going to that pitching graveyard away from the west coast when he said he wanted to be on the west coast

Andy Martino: Sources: Mets have offered Scherzer more than $40 million per year. Length unknown. Doesn’t mean he’ll sign there; that’s still unclear.
