NBA Thread

So he's for sure better than Love, CP3, and Davis? Stats don't indicate it so far.

Thats fine that they don't right now. He is working his way back from an injury. Now, he might be hurt for the rest of his career and that would definitely negate his improvements but RW is the most dominant player on the floor right now.

I also said that was CLOSE to becoming the third best player...meaning that he isn't there yet.

I love that this is your comeback for everything.....like I don't watch the NBA every night.....keep it up, pal.

Give it up:

Better players at the very least:

LBJ
Durant
Paul
Love
Cousins
Davis
Melo
Blake
Curry
Harden
Howard

Remember this conversation.

What RW is doing right now is so rare. He has to continue to do it and stay healthy but he has been brilliant so far this year.

Soooooooo brilliant that that OKC has a better NET rating WITHOUT him.

Over 30 games? A decent amount

I'd like to see that list. I bet its not even close to how large you think it is. I'd think it would have all HOFers on it and not just a regular HOF but the elite guys like Jordan/Bird/LBJ/KD.

Westbrook is doing this (believe the points per game will increase quickly) in just 31 minutes a game. What happens when he gets his legs back and is out there for 36 minutes?

How many average

24/10/4
25/6/5
27/4/13
24/9/5

I'd imagine not that many at all. There are thresholds to analyze stats where you are in rarified air.

Do you think its common to see a player do what RW is doing right now? Heck, even what he did last year.

It's actually 21/6/7 and it's 32 games........so how about we relax, k?

Ok fine...over a 32 game stretch do you really believe there is a long list of players in the history of the nba who have had these statlines?

WHat about how many players in the history of the nba had statlines like RW had last year? This guy is a great player and is on his way to the HOF if he can stay out of the doctors office.

Is it common for players to post the stats I listed above? Current NBA players are and that doesnt even include the top 2

Durant has played two games in sleeves this year, Christmas at New York & All-Star. He scored 67 points on 24-43 shooting, 10-23 from 3.

LOL. thethe went on and on about how much Durant would sit 4th quarters last year. I happen to be sorting through stats and I will give you guys 1 guess to who had the 2nd most minutes of any players last year............

Russ was 8th in PER last year, which is pretty reasonable for his performance last year.

This year though, Harden, Curry, Howard, Davis, and Blake have really improved and surpassed him. John Wall could be on his way to surpassing him, but he doesn't take the amount of shots that Russ does despite having far less weapons.

It was a fact that Durant sat that many 4th quarters.
