How about Wilkens, Gervin, Dantley, Petrovic, Reggie Miller, Kris Mullen, Alex English?

How many 6 assist games does Melo have vs center? What about 8? 12? 14?

Noah is a good passer that doesn't look to score, why is he even relevant? Why would he be compared to Melo?

You don't care to compare Melo to players that play positions similar to him, ok. Makes sense, I guess.

English had a few years where he had around 5 assists a game. How many has Melo had?

Miller played on teams that had a crazy low pace but he was also another shoot first shoot second etc guy...how many titles does he have?

Wilkens was the embodiment of a ball hog shooter. He is the closest to Melo in that they could have been so much better than they actually were.

Want me to go on? How many titles do any of these guys have?

Why should I compare Melo to the scrubs at SF in the league today? I'm so happy he has more assists than Jeff Green. I WAS SO WRONG ABOUT MELO!

How many do Durant and Westbrook have?

By your logic, they just need to pass more.

No, they just needed RW not to get hurt last year and they probably would have held the title. Unless of course you expected the youngest core in the history of basketball to win a title in 2012.

Can you send the proof for the youngest core in the history of basketball?

And no, I don't expect them to win with Russ at PG

The average age of that team in 2012 was 23.6, maybe not youngest ever but sure as hell not old either.

Regards to bottom, time will tell.

I didnt watch the game but 60% from 3?

Thabo is missed, they can manage without Perk.

No way Green scores 40+ with Thabo checking him.

Russ had a good game but when a team shoots 60% from 3, not much you can do.

As I've said before, I'm a casual at best NBA fan. When I did pay more attention to the NBA, the Lakers were good. I watched the last part of the Clippers/Lakers game, mainly because there was nothing much else good on TV. What the heck has happened to them?
