Official CBA Negotiation Thread

The vote passed 26-12

We know all 8 players on the exec committee voted no. I'm curious which 4 team reps voted no. I'd have to assume the Mets are one of them. How the Mets have 3 total voters is beyond me. **** those guys.

Would FF's money be equal to say conforto and Rizzo? If so, which would you prefer?

I really want nothing to do with Rizzo... feel like he's declining pretty clearly. Conforto helps offset that but I'd rather just get Freddie and one or two more OFers like Soler or Rosario.

Well, this might be good news for those who want to see the owners break the union. Looks like it's happening slowly even though we're still getting baseball.

I admittedly don't know how the exec committee and such voted the last CBA.

Further.... I still think I'd actually prefer Olson over Freeman if the price was right. Olson and Conforto... LFG

Does anybody have a list of the actual player reps? 5 of the 8 on the exec committee have Boras as their agent. He's been agent the deal the whole time. Nimmo is the Mets player rep and has Boras as his agent. He was likely a No too. So was this Boras vs the Owners?

So it was the Mets, Yankees, Astros, and Cards player reps that also voted No. Somehow the Mets and Yankees had 6 total votes on this. **** New York.

One of my bigger wishes is coming true:

In 2023, there will be less divisional games, and each team will play at least one series against every team in baseball.

I just get tired of seeing the Phillies, Marlins, Mets, and Nationals almost 20 games each season.
