Official 2022 Offseason Moves Thread

Seems to me, with Freeman reportedly stating he wanted to see where Olson signs before making a decision himself is interesting. If the Dodgers are any one else had already offered his big deal, then why shouldnt he have signed already

He played a game of chicken and got burnt. He can blame his agent or whoever but AA had a team to build.

we saved 18 million or so with Olson over FF. Dansby we think is 10 million.

would Correa sign 1 year/30? Leave Astros for 1 year? We would have any money left or would we play Waters or Herredia in CF?

Why stop at 1 year?

He's going to require at least 6/180

The Swanson story is interesting. He has one year left and 2 of the best SS in baseball are FA right now. Swanson trade bait? I don’t know if the casual fan could stomach losing both he and Freeman

Include Swanson in a deal for Castillo, sign Correa... I'm in

Hmm - Now this is interesting because Castillo is a legit upgrade.

Not sure why Reds take back Swanson if they are trying to tear it down though.

Yeah I put no thought is my post... had no idea if the Reds would even care about Swanson... just thinking there's no way we swing another major trade unless Swanson is involved

I love all these possible moves and signings being thrown around here…Completely ignoring the fact that Liberty is about to pocket the **** out of all that money and probably decrease payroll in the process.

This is the way
