Called Up to the Major Leagues
What teams are in dire need of a SS right now?
Rockies come to mind but then Braves will be also if they trade Swanson.

AA gonna sign Freeman and Soler. He’s crying because he knows he’s about to win 4 World Series in a row.
Depending on how the Braves track buy outs, the current payroll is about $142M. I have no idea how they will project revenue in 2022 and beyond, but I would not be surprised at any 2022 payroll value under $180M. That leaves around $35M-$40 to spend with a hole in LF, the rotation, and a bench bat.
They could do Greinke ($10M), Conforto ($20M) and Joc ($10M) I think. That would be a pretty stout roster.

The lack of infield depth scares me more than the outfield. There are a lot of options for the outfield still available (Soler, Rosario, Peterson, Conforto, Castellanos, Schwarber). There are no good free agent options for infield depth IMO. The team needs an upgrade over Arica. After the trade today I’m not sure we have the prospects to find a backup infielder. Hopefully some options will come available at the end of spring training.
After looking Greinke is basically the only FA left that would upgrade the rotation.

This is a good point. With Ozuna at DH, the remaining bench spot should probably be an IFer. Someone like Brad Miller would fit well.
I think the FO has made it perfectly clear they are in love with Arcia. No idea why, but they really love that dude.

My one concern now with Freeman, since there appear to be so few suitors left, is that he will end up signing a contract for a price/years we could have all lived with.
Fred appears to have bought into his own hype.
If he really wanted to stay it would have happened before the lockout.
Otherwise it's just your regular PR talk from player x
Feels like it to me too. Great player, but he isn't prime Pujols, Trout, or ARod. Then again maybe he just wants out of an outdoors summertime job in the South. I can't blame if that's the case.
