oppression AND tyranny

still curious what part was unconstitutional about that raid

Don't forget. We sent athletes to Beijing for the Olympics.

good thing you reminded us

we actually did forget cause no one watches the winter games

Goldy shilling for the fbi raid of a journalist the white house didn't like is yet another feather in the cap of the dumbass marxist

how is asking what part is unconstitutional = shilling for the fbi to your dumbass?

1/4 of the way into 2022 and still don't know what the word "marxist" is either. giving up hope on you self educating yourself on the buzz words you continue to use incorrectly

What pArt of communism specifically would you not support here?

i mean this is a really good attempt at trying to talk about anything other than the possibly silliness of calling that raid unconstitutional

i again won't fall for a different attempt at trying to invoke your lightening rod of buzzwords

but i appreciate the offer to do so instead of trying to stay on the topic you initially presented

i guess i'll just go read about how they must not have had a search warrant or something else similar cause you obviously don't actually want to talk about that case

They had a warrant. What was the accused crime. Do you know? It appears to any critical thinker that they were mad at the media org for publishing embarrassing content on the President and thus wanted to send a message. It is clear that you are supportive of this.

Meanwhile, you keep saying I don't know what communism is. I think you are a communist. Explain to me why you aren't?

it's something you posted. i asked a question about the very first thing it stated. so, on the first step of being constitutional, it seems fine. i wonder what part is unconstitutional then.

enjoy believing that. i honestly can't tell you how little your thoughts on being incredibly stupid about me on the matter means to me lol

Since a person doesn’t want to talk about the topic they brought up (not shocked)

Might as well move on to real ported soon and tyranny

That is ominous.

Next he'll be accusing his citizens of being pro-covid traitors and promising them a winter of death

I'm wondering if someone can find any post where someone says that Putin isn't a clear example of a modern day tyrant.

Is this the standard that we should hold Western leaders against now?

If our leaders are less than bad than Putin, there is no oppression and tyranny

Just like we weren’t allowed to say Joe Biden was unfit to be POTUS because Donald Trump was the standard.

How’s that working out a year plus in?

one guy is very likely a rapist and serial abuser of women

and the other isn't

distinctions of that sort do matter

as do the equally unsubtle ones between trudeau and vlad the bad...between actual oppression AND tyranny and the ersatz variety

the plain meaning of words do matter

ymmv

My point is that the Aussies are pluralistic democratic society that have made a set of choices that reasonable people might make under the circumstances. Others have screamed bloody tyranny AND oppression and cited all sorts of nonsense about animal abuse and elder abuse to justify their own pro-covid ideological convictions. Every society pursuing every policy does regrettable things. The fact is those regrettable things happen everywhere. But some seem to have made it a little cottage industry to use those regrettable things to say Australia is a tyranny going down this awful slippery slope. It aint so.

Australia (like Denmark and Norway) will come out of this with their freedoms as strong as ever. And far fewer deaths than those places who have fallen under the sway of pro-covid ideologues.
