Some of it is out and out racism. But I would say the main difference is that Vlad the Bad is doing is far more destabilizing to our most important allies.

So is ally distablization more of an issue than a body count in the the 6 figures?

I thing the body count per day is MUCH higher in Ukraine if that is the metric you want to go with

They are. One of our cats has a dog's personality. Friendly and affectionate. That works for me.

Had a gorgeous kitty from age 19-29 (Nala). She would sleep with me every night and wait at the door till I came home.

Not like my current guy who is still awesome but there are certainly some unique kitty personalities as well.

I've been reading up on Llasa Apsos and Tibetan Mastiffs since taking care of Bear (he's a Llasa Apso). Apparently they were bred to work together when protecting the Tibetan monasteries. The Llasa Apso provides the eyes, ears and brains and the mastiff the muscle. I noticed Bear loves bigger dogs. I guess that's the breeding kicking in. The Tibetan Mastiff looks kinda cool. I might get an older mastiff. I would get a mutt, but with some mastiff in it.

I agree. I'd get a rescue dog. The pure breds I've had have all had mental health issues. A vet suggested Prozak for one of them.
