This will cost the Dems some seats. But I'm glad that the State Supreme Court saw it this way. NY voters voted in a referendum in 2014 to have seats drawn in a nonpartisan manner and the legislature has tried to circumvent that. Besides it is better for our political process to have more seats that are competitive.

When they can't win the argument they resort to changing the definition of words. This reminds me of "that depends on what your definition of the word 'is' is" quote from the Clinton era.

Yeah, I mean, why be a cop unless it’s certain that I won’t ever be held accountable for my actions
 
I mean, most people have left ****ty underpaid jobs leaving vacancies across the board in this areas

But if some are being held accountable for their actions and nothing has actually been defunded

And then some are like, “**** this” and leave

I’d love to hear your explanation on it.
