So we are energy independent if Trump was still president.
But because global production is still down from pre-COVID levels, easier to blame Biden I guess?
Yes, production is not keeping up with demand. The chart clearly shows that from president to president we've had to make massive leaps in production to keep up with demand, which is not happening currently with Biden.
So what is stopping us from producing more?
Oil production worldwide is down. Do you think that has a bigger impact on our prices than whatever you think Biden is responsible for?
And doesn't this show why the US should have better invested in public transit and green energy earlier? So oil companies wouldn't have as much power over our economy as they do now?

Production is high under Biden because of changes the companies made under trump. The White House says President Joe Biden condemns the actions of the armed individual arrested outside Kavanaugh's home. White House spokesman Andrew Bates told CNN "President Biden condemns the actions of this individual in the strongest terms, and is grateful to law enforcement for quickly taking him into custody."
"As the President has consistently made clear, public officials -- including judges -- must be able to do their jobs without concern for their personal safety or that of their families. And any violence, threats of violence, or attempts to intimidate justices have no place in our society. He has said that himself, and his spokespeople have been forceful about this from the podium."
Bates noted that Biden "supports legislation to fund increased security for the court and judges."
