It's not the worst outcome to allow states to make abortion policy according to the values and preferences of their voters. Roe v Wade was always a constitutionally dubious decision. Abortion is a policy matter best worked out by the body politic.

once the histrionics and hyperbole die down each state will decide what's best for itself as on other issues

Do you have the data on how often this is happening in Europe? Since their abortion laws are more strict than Mississippi's, I'd presume there are plenty of examples of this if it is such a risk
