It'll come.

Gallo to the Dodgers sounds like?

Have fun with your below .200 hitter with an average exit velocity down almost 6 mph from when he was actually good

A 45 FV Clayton Beeter for Gallo... very surprised they could get a 45 for Gallo

23 year old in AA with sky high K-rates but also walks the world

I suspect the Dodgers will be just fine without him and could really reap the benefits if Gallo has a fresh start and gets back closer to where he was.

Certainly... was just surprised Gallo could net more than a bag of balls with his underlying metrics and statcast data

Dumping Smith for Odor was an A+ move, but the rest of AA's deadline has been pretty underwhelming. Adrianza (D move) and Grossman (C move) are not the additions I'd expect from a team with legit WS aspirations.

So far I give AA a B- for this deadline. He hasn't leveraged the payroll space in any way yet.

Can you elaborate on your evaluation of the Grossman move?

Team definitely needed help against left handed pitching in the OF and we got a guy that had a 1.000/.860 OPS (22/21) against left handed pitching.

This is pretty fair. I'd keep an eye out between 30 minutes before the deadline and 15-20 minutes after it expires when the late deals get announced. He has tended to strike in that window.

Stoked Soto is out of the NL East. Will be interesting to watch how the Padres go from here. Do they have the pitching to contend?
