Those talking about how others were " broken" by Trump
might want to either fess up to being
solidly in the Trump camp
or

work to eliminate headlines like this.

Election Victories by
Trump Allies Showcase His Grip on the
G.O.P. Base

Primary wins in Arizona and
Michigan for candidates backed by
former President Trump reaffirmed
his continued influence over the party.

I’ll have my people call their people and have it removed asap.

And in case you haven’t noticed Dems have spent 44m pushing Trump candidates. There’s many reasons why those headlines were written

In MAGA’s primary win over Meijer in Michigan, the candidate who won received a $5000 campaign donation from Trump’s Save America PAC…and a $435000 ad buy courtesy of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (which was an amount larger than the candidate had raised on his own for his entire campaign).

But please (D), tell us more about how MAGA is a bunch of Nazis and an existential threat to our democracy…

Didn't Dems fund these candidates?

On the one hand, I despise this strategy greatly and almost hope it blows up in their face. On the other hand, it might be the only way to pick up any seats in what could be an awful electoral environment this fall. At the end of the day it likely comes down to whether you believe in winning at any cost or losing with your principles. Given that nobody in charge has any principles, I probably shouldn’t have expected any less.

If we were in a normal political climate where there were two factions of (R) that were both ultimately palatable, and (D) simply preferred to compete against one over the other, I would have no issue with the strategy. It’s just politics. The problem is (D) wants to tell us that we’re not in a normal political climate, given the way they characterize MAGA. Then they turn around and fund those candidates. It’s despicable.

It is cynical and dangerous.

The country is better off when both parties (and third parties) nominate strong and able candidates for all offices.

You actually mean your ideology is better off when your opposition nominate weak willed people that kowtow to anything an 'expert' says.

We get it.

(D) spending more money on a MAGA challenger to defeat Meijer (who voted to impeach Trump) than that challenger was able to raise on his own shows just how full of **** they are.

But in November when they are claiming how dangerous these candidates are to DEMOCRACY ™... the seals, including the buffoon, will clap along

Desantis is the ****ing man. As a country we must understand that Soros has a plan to destabilize the country. Along with the CCP he is public enemy #1. All of his trash politicians should be kicked out of office and prosecuted for their crimes.

As I've said, I prefer Trump for various reasons but I will be PUMPED as well if Desantis is the guy.

Hell yeah, **** the people of Hillsborough County having a say in how their elected State Attorney will act. Let’s centralize power instead, right?

(I don’t actually give a ****. DeSantis has the right to do it, and I’m quite sure I’ve seen Democrats do similar things)

I'm sure the actual people of the country despise the poison that is being taught in their schools.

Feels like a stretch if they voted for him in the first place. Doesn’t seem like he’s positioned himself as a centrist.

My point is that it seems funny to me that limited government conservatives would celebrate the head of the state overriding the decision of the local population.

Live and let live has not been a viable strategy against the communists.

The pushback will.be big and probably a lot harder than most people are comfortable with... But it is inevidible
