2024 Field

So if a Blue State Governor did the same to an elected official for not enforcing laws to combat climate change, you’d be good?

It's not a state official's job to combat climate change. However, it is their job to keep criminals off the streets.

Yeah I’m not sure how that relates at all

Not sure how it doesn’t. If California passed a law banning or restricting some form of fossil fuel consumption and an official refused to enforce that law, you’d be fine with that official being booted by Newsom?

Perhaps a better comparison would have been COVID restrictions. I don’t feel like the Right would have been supportive of Gretchen Whitmer suspending a Republican elected official for not enforcing COVID shutdowns.

State attorney's job description deals with keeping criminals off the streets specifically. Not enforcing left wing laws of a dubious constitutionality is WAY different, especially when you consider the death rate of Covid and stripping owners of a business the ability to engage in free commerce.

COVID restrictions were unconstitutional and any leader who pushed them should have been impeached... Actually, sent to gitmo

So is there something inherently more criminal about breaking laws supported by right wingers?

Yes because the laws we stand for is what civilization has been built on for centuries not the Marxist crap that is meant to destroy it.

Cool, so we all just follow the laws we want to follow. Sounds to me like that Attorney should be reinstated.

Oh right I forgot you don't respond to me anymore...

Good decision. Easier than to justify your lunacy

Totalitarian laws that have little to no real legal basis are somehow equal to established laws that protect society. Get with the program!

I still don't get this dudes point (although I may be offending he/him by assuming his gender!)

Are people elected to enforce laws allowed to just... Not, and expect zero consequences?

I get it that the left would never fire anybody for any reason (including ****ing a child)... But at least be self aware of the dumbass statement

Ah yes, those long-standing abortion and transgender care laws. Where would society be without them to protect us all?

DeSantis has started to jump ahead of trump in the betting odds for 2024. Thankfully, people are starting to realize Trump cant win it.

Has absolutely nothing to do with Trumps chances but I wouldn't expect you to be honest about that.
