And? Just pointing out that top tier pitchers don't equal success in the playoffs. As if Braves fans need to be told that. Playoffs are a crapshoot where anything can happen. Mets could steam roll the rest of the way and fall flat in their first series.
 
I don't think the Mets are better head to head, but that doesn't matter because it seems like the division is now out of reach.

And not winning the division is a huge blow to getting through the NL playoffs.

On the positive side, I'd assume a couple extra games of big revenue for the team

They could definitely fall flat. This isn’t going to be the team to beat them though. As it stands now, they have strong starting pitching and a dominant closer. And yeah they get a little lucky with the hits, but they put together good, tough at bats and make things happen. Not unlike the Dodgers the last few years.

The guy who beat hader isn't here. The guy who hit the 2-run hr off scherzer isn't here
 
Also, Olson has been pretty good this year but to act like he hasn't disappointed is a stretch

It's definitely been a downgrade and during a year where we are trying to win the world series, having this.much of a downgrade is a bummer

A lot of people would bite on Anderson. I wouldn’t care what the return was. Just get rid of Ozuna money.
 
Fckn Alonso hasn’t a hit a ball hard since his off stride end of the bat 362 ft HR in game one.

Not as much as you think after the players get their portion of the gate receipts. You really need to make the World Series to see the team get a huge chunk.
