GDT 8/20/22: Braves vs Astros - World Series Rematch Game 2

Baseball is a funny game and its hard to predict one month out, let alone several years. That said its hard to not at least stop and think about what we have and are continuing to build.
--4 divisions in a row. Two NLCS's in a row. One WS already on the board.
--Heading towards our 5th straight playoff appearance and likely our highest win total of the bunch
--Our team is built around 21-28 year olds all signed long-term on team-friendly deals
--That includes Acuna and Riley who in any given year should both be legitimate MVP candidates, and in Acuna case, in any given year can be a clear-cut best player in baseball
--We are basically selling out every game + the battery and have established ourselves as a top 5 payroll type team
--We have a GM that clearly is amongst the best in the game
It just feels like there is a 10-year stretch in the making here that could be shades of '91-2001 type of success. The playoff forum was easier back then so I certainly can't expect making 4 WS in 5-years...
Its pretty damn exciting. That said - enjoying the heck out of being the current defending champs on our way to 95-100 wins...

DUI charges
I'm still not convinced it matters since he wasn't on the opening day roster. But I would love to find out. That said, Strider has been the best rookie this year.

Braves would need to sweep New York in that last series if they end up being tied. Mets lead the series 9-7 as of now.
