Considering Bobby built the core of the 90's team before JS arrived...

The 2005 baby braves outside of McCann did not do anything for us to help us get to the playoffs after that year.


Looking at JS's midseason trades just at the start of the century...

Lest we forget he unloaded Kevin Millwood for basically 1.5 good seasons of Johnny Estrada. Unloaded Wilson Betemit for Baez and Aybar to try and keep the streak alive.


So far, AA has won most of his trades.

We also gotta give JS some credit for this current run. He’s the one who wanted to tear it down and rebuild with the idea to get us back to being a perennial powerhouse.

In the same breadth, we also have to acknowledge that he wanted to hire John Coppellela, Dayton Moore, and Dan O’Dowd as GM.
