AA is a better GM or will be a better GM then Schuerholt?

Well, that 2006 should’ve been a wild card. They underplayed their expected W/L by 10 games. That was the weakest year in NL history. That 2006 team only scored 50 less runs than the 2003 team. With Wainright to go with Smoltz and Hudson, we would’ve been tough to beat.
Waino also might've helped us reach the playoffs in 2009. But wasn't that the year the Rockies won like 22 of 24 down the stretch?
No, that was 2007. The Rockies scuffled down the stretch in 2009 and the Braves were red hot. Not sure what Wainwright could’ve done for that team, since we had the best rotation in the league that year.
Still hurts every time I replay in my mind Chipper straining his oblique in the batter's box... we were the hottest team in baseball with the Mets coming into Turner Field.
Hello Danys Baez and Willy Aybar.
Considering he was 19-8 with a 2.63 ERA and third in Cy Young voting, he would have been preferable to Kawakami.

Maybe. Kawakami was decent that year and the 5th starter.
