Somehow Gameday dulls the experience, but it's always nice to get the first one. Hope this is like last year when we just found ways to gut out the wins against the Gnats.

Braves win! Big win to start series. Gotta give Hale big props, battling the flu and he outpitched the Nats ace. I have been very impressed with our young starting pitching so far.

It's too bad Hale didn't get the win though, he does minus the boot by Uggla. We should've won 2-0. But at least Hale's performance still meant a series opening win.

Good to see Gattis get his first homer too, that was a bomb.

So about that Braves pitching staff? They've given up just 5 runs in 4 games.

Crazy to say it, but I'm worried MORE about the bats than the pitching. Didn't see that coming.

Agreed. He might not be labeled their ace but he has pitched like an ace more than Strasburg has.
