Mets had to eat 19 of McCann's 24 million and he had no off the field issues. How much would we have to eat of Ozuna's? Think hes on 2/32, so at least 20+ of it.

Might as well. Would save us 12 million so our owners could sit on it and do nothing with it. Would also open a roster spot so we can get our boy Luplow more abs. I say that all tongue in cheek but the reality is that’s what would probably happen.

I'll be surprised if diaz makes the team. The others are all are projected to be positive fWAR. Ozuna is obviously too expensive, but spilled milk

Seriously, Diaz was once (let me stress "once") a pretty decent prospect with the Twins and I wouldn't be surprised if he was on the list of guys the Braves inquired about when they traded Jaime Garcia to the Twins. Braves got Ynoa in that deal. Diaz has turned into a AAAA guy. I don't really see a place for him on the Braves' major league roster because even if he could hit, he's a one-position guy.

Haha I had the same thought about Llewyn Davis.
Diaz is out of options, so he'll either need to be on the big-league team or be put through waivers.

Oh man... I love the Cohen brothers so much and I was so excited to watch this... but man what an awful movie

I run hot-and-cold on the Coens and tend to agree here. Critics love this movie and I'm a big Oscar Isaac fan, but I never warmed to it at all.
As for Diaz, he was DFAd three times in 2022. Not a good look especially seeing one of the teams was the Pirates.
