The Braves are going to have to do something pretty epic against the Nats to top what Chipper did to the Mets in September of '99.
 
Looks like a good win (they all are). Have to laugh about the debate on who the Nats' ace is that was on here the other day. I'm just not a Strasburg guy.
 
It seems like yesterday we couldnt beat the nats. Different story these days. I dont know what it is about that ball club, but its awesome every time we beat them.

Havent changed my mind on it because of one game.
 
I missed the game tonight, but I do dearly love how the Braves have taken the Nats to school. They've definitely gotten in the skulls of the Zombie Expos. Granted, there's not much but hair product residue and failure in there, but nonetheless.

Oh, and my vote is for Zimmerman as the ace of the staff. That dude is hoss.

Also needs to be noted that while J Zimmerman is the Nats ace, but Ryan Zimmerman is the Braves' ace in the hole.

The Braves never feared Strasburg. They beat him the first time they saw him and have just owned him.
 
Ryan Zimmerman could be a valuable pinch-hitter relief pitcher. Could be a Moylan type of deal throwing side arm underhanded and still be a power bat off the bench.

Also I think I found out where Giles got his fan rules. According to the nats game thread your not a real fan if you dont live in the same state as your team.
