Let's consult with openAI, shall we?
Social Security is a government program designed to provide income to retired, disabled, and surviving individuals. It is funded through payroll taxes, which means that workers pay into the program while they are employed, and then receive benefits when they retire or become disabled.
The reason Social Security is at risk in funding is that there are currently more people receiving benefits than there are workers paying into the program. This is due to a combination of factors, including longer life expectancies, lower birth rates, and the aging of the baby boomer generation.
As a result, the Social Security trust fund, which is used to pay benefits, is projected to run out of money in the next few decades. This means that either benefits will need to be reduced, payroll taxes will need to be increased, or some combination of the two will be necessary to sustain the program.
The exact solution to the funding problem is a matter of debate, but the important thing to understand is that the current demographic trends and the structure of the program make it difficult to sustain without changes.

Back to the humanoid...
On one hand, we have politicians who deny this reality... They have no plan, and when the funding runs out they will simply print the money. More inflation to **** over AMERICANS I'm told need protecting. These politicians are leftists, and Donald Trump
On the other hand there are operators who are able to diagnose legit problems and work towards solving them for sustainable success, or better yet, something substantially better! Privatizing retirement savings would result in so much more wealth than the current ponzi scheme.
I'm told that the second group of operators are bad, and cannot be elected, because they wish to solve this problem.
I'm told that the first group of politicians are the way forward... Because they adamantly believe in the failed policy and promise to double down on it
