Dominion vs Fox

My question is simple... Should we.or should we not remove networks from the air who lie?

I say we should. You?
 
Your question doesn't make sense since no one has been kicked off the air. And your reference to "we" doesn't make sense when Fox was sued by the company they knowingly defamed to appease their rabid viewers.
 
The rabid viewers deserve a lot of blame.

Rupert Murdoch wouldn't be able to so easily fool a more informed public. America was the perfect place for him to use BS to amass a fortune.
 
I wonder how much the Judge ordering a Special Master look into whether Fox News was complying with discovery factored into this settlement. Was there more evidence even more doing they didn't turn over? The Judge very well may have awarded the case to Dominion if anything relevant turned up after so many violations like they did Alex Jones.
 
This is going to be a lawyer's delight. Stockholders are gonna sue. Viewers will too. And so will others harmed by the lies disseminated, such as election workers.
 
Unfortunately, a dishonest judge pretty much forced Fox's hand here. Meanwhile, knowledgeable people still won't screw with Dominion software.

I say this knowing that Fox News is crap.

They might as well have gone with a Chewbacca defense because this case is the equivalent of a guy walking into a bank with a gun and a note saying to give him all the money trying to argue he wasnt actually there to rob the bank. The only issue that wasnt certain going into the case was how much damage Fox did.

surveillance footage that McCarthy gave Tucker Carlson that was supposed to

blow the lid off of the January 6 Committee & their investigation findings?

There will NEVER be a more open and shut case than this. You dont even understand that the argument you think makes the case wrongly decided is completely irrelevant to the actual case. Fox News was allowing guests and hosts to state that Dominion software was purposely switching votes from Trump to Biden as facts despite knowing there wasnt a shred of evidence. That some employees trashed the software in internal communications is irrelevant. That someone could have theoretically hacked into a machine is not relevant. Quite literally all Fox News needed to do was have their host point out these are unproven allegations at some point in these interviews. Every other network covered these allegations and every other single one pointed out these are unproven allegations when talking about it. Fox was allowing these people to come on air and make these allegations and claims they have evidence but privately the hosts were pissed because when they asked for evidence all they got were **** like an email from a person claiming to be a headless time traveler. Tuckers attempt to throw Powell under the bus becomes a lot clearer after this case. They kept asking her for evidence. Powell kept giving them BS so he publicly invited her to air all her evidence she kept claiming to have knowing she couldnt produce it.

He lives in the twilight zone. He listens to rightwing lawyers and doesnt understand they are giving biased takes. These are the same people who argued for Bush in Bush vs Gore in 2000 and then all of a sudden had an epiphany and changed their legal opinion once benefited their side. He cant accept that he has a kindergarten level understanding of the legal system. It must be that all these judges and jurors are corrupt. People will go to extreme lengths to justify their world view in their own minds.

They aired about 20 seconds of people being peaceful and called that proof no crimes were committed.
 
We had people going on air saying Trump was in bed with Russia on the MSM. Look, if having guests on that don't know what they're talking about with little proof to back it up was a suable offense every cable news company would be out of business.

And you're full of **** as usual. When a judge comes out and says everything Fox News said was false when there is a ton of evidence that says otherwise he's a liar. I'm sorry that you're too gaslighted and uninformed to understand that.
