They just won’t be voided any more before 5 innings are up. If it gets called before then, the game gets postponed and resumed where it left off at a later date.

No. It’s official. They changed it during Covid that if a a game is delayed prior to completing 5, then the game would be made up later but start back at the last inning played instead of from the beginning.
