South Dakota’s beauty is only around the Black Hills area… otherwise it’s pretty meh. North Dakota outside of the western half is pretty meh too but I like it better… you just have to know where to go. I have an affinity for western ND now after being here for a decade. There are some real secret gem areas. It’s fun to explore.

But it IS on-brand and consistent for him. He loves murderous authoritarians who oppress their own people to take their money and power for himself. It's quite clear. And he hates any law that would try and stop him from those aims.
