yeah, I hear or see republicans bring his name up daily still. so weird how much republicans worship 2 ****ty actors
not shocked to hear the guy that wouldn't be allowed in the Republican Party today while still invoked by said Republican Party was brought up today though

Judge sets preliminary trial date of August 14th 2023. That will probably change but it does show this trial should happen sooner that we thought. Unlike a lot of cases there doest seem like there would be a lot in discovery that would need time to process. Trump could be in prison before even the RNC convention. If this timetable even holds up at all Trump could be in prison for a year by the time of the general election. I cant wait for "why arent they allowing him to tweet from prison, thats a violation of his first amendment rights!".

Jack Smith just sent the Trump legal team the evidence they have as a part of discovery. So now Trump knows everyone who didn't lie to help him. Also hearing that Trumps interviews were a part of the evidence sent to his legal team. Can't wait until trial and they start playing Trumps interviews. Along with including Trumps quotes about how no one must be above the law when signing enhanced penalties for the espionage act they are literally going to prosecute use him using his own words.

Jack Smith new filing asks for a court date of December 11th. Largely because Trumps lawyers need time to get a security clearance which in itself bodes very badly for the Teflon Don. Smith also plans to call 84 witnesses. Looks like Christmas coming a little early this year.

Trump - "The PRA says I can keep whatever I want"
Trump appointed Judge - "No it doesnt, you cant make that argument to the jury its a purposeful distortion of the law"
Trump - "Well I declassified all the documents"
Trump appointed Judge - "Ok show me the declassification order"
Trump - "I dont have one,"
Trump appointed Judge - "Then its not declassified and you cant tell the jury iit was"

Little does he know that there is legal precedent that shows that declassification orders aren't necessary.

Because it's standard procedure. The judge is going into this case with the presumption that the DOJ could be correct. She's not made any call to which side is right yet.
In Judicial Watch vs. NARA during the trial NARA and the judge assumed that Bill Clinton had declassified the tapes by taking them home. He notified no one. That is strong precedent.

Let me reiterate something. Judge Cannon sees what the DOJ did during Russian Collusion and now due to whistleblowers she sees just like we do that the DOJ has been running a protection racket for the Bidens. We've seen some questionable antics from the DOJ in this case already so she might not let the DOJ drag an ex-prez through the mud because this case reeks of being political in nature. We shall see.
