Not one time in this series did I feel the way I did the entire Cincinnati series. The Washington Nationals have given the Braves more fight and competition.

The Braves now have the best winning percentage in the game. Standings-wise, they are tied with Tampa.

I know it would be cool if the fish and Faillies would lose. But it has to be horrible for them to keep winning and still lose ground on the Braves.

I will give that Yates has looked better recently, but I wouldn't take much away for any pitcher in this series. Twins offensive is scuffling and we are just clicking.

Fangraphs had an interesting article on Olson’s approach this season. It seems like he’s really leaned into mashing pitches on the inner third and ignoring everything on the outside part of the plate (which probably explains why he’s struggled with lefties so much this season). Whatever the approach is, he’s destroying everything off speed from RHP.

I will never change my mind about that. Freddie is better in every way except for power and the Braves should have made sure he never wore another uni and Freddie should have taken control of his own choices. Having said that it is an amazing run.
